Shannon and Kavel // Duke Mansion Wedding

Shannon exhaled as her body relaxed into Kavel. The day was absolutely gorgeous but a light rain had begun only minutes before their ceremony. The forecast didn’t look like anything was going to change, so it prevented the ceremony from being outside as planned.  The staff at the Duke Mansion did an amazing job of quickly creating space in the ball room where guests would gather in an intimate ceremony.
As I was watching and capturing their sweet first dance, I couldn’t help but think about how special it was to have their first dance in the exact place they said their vows only moments before. Only a rare few ever get to make that claim, and it seemed magical in the moment.

Shannon was stunning and with every glance and whisper you knew that Kevil was well aware.  The two moved around the dance floor wrapped in each others arms with soft tears lightly being swept off her face. What seemed like the perfect end to a perfect wedding was only the beginning. Next week was wedding number two… their Indian wedding in Raleigh!
