Proof that rainy wedding days don’t have to mean doom and gloom. 🥰
Christi and Jack met their 100% rain forecast with grace and adaptation.
I walked in and told her, “You know what? I’ve never known these beautiful mountains to not present some kind of opportunity for mountain backdrop photos, so we’re going to bank on that.”
The rain and wind came on strong as they got ready, had their first look, and prepped for the ceremony …
But you know what?
They still got beautiful photos even during the rainy parts of the day AND the sun came out, the rain dried up, and their guests got the most magical sunset filled with those low hanging clouds that make the the Smoky’s so great. ✨
We’re still swooning over this lovely couple, the light that came pouring out over their guests after the rain, and the luscious details that abounded.
With a wedding vendor team like theirs (full list at the bottom), the day was destined to be perfection … even in it’s own drizzly kinda way. The flowers from Floressence were perfectly paired with her mismatched floral print bridesmaids dresses, and the elegant way Christi moved throughout her wedding day, wistful and carefree had everyone captivated (us too!)
Oh, and that perfect mountain backdrop that The Ridge Asheville provides – it just doesn’t get much lovelier for a ceremony.
We’re feeling smitten with not only the couples we get to serve again, but the vendors we’ve missed collaborating with over this past year!
Christi and Jack, thank you for allowing us the honor and privilege of capturing your day. We adore you.
