He cried. He cried during the first look. He cried when she came down the isle. He cried during their first dance. He cried when he thanked the ones he loved most in the world for celebrating with them. And it was beautiful.
Chris was authentic. Chris was kind. Chris was able to be completely in the moment on his wedding day. For some reason this is hard for grooms. I’m not exactly sure why. But if I can give you one piece of advice. Be you and be present. Find a way to drop the stress, forget the crowds eyes, and sink into her eyes. Linger in her embrace. And don’t be afraid to let your emotions pour out of your soul. That doesn’t mean cry. It might mean cry. But it might be laughter. It might be giddy and fidgety. It might be so many things. But don’t hide them. Share them with her. And on your wedding day she’ll know. She’ll know you love her, want her, and can’t wait to share forever with her.
