Kimberly and Drew’s experience with Almond Leaf Studios first began back in June of 2020 for their wedding day: “We were so in love with Elizabeth’s work. I love film and the way she captures her subjects is out of this world… When we got pregnant I knew any family session we took I would want to have Elizabeth shoot them.”

Baby Jackson arrived a little early, in February of 2021, and immediately Kimberly knew The Biltmore was the right location for their first family photos.

“We love The Biltmore and it’s beautiful architecture and gardens. My husband and I spent our first New Year’s Eve there and I like adding sentiment to things. I remember thinking about all of the amazing spots for wedding photos, but we ended up choosing Blowing Rock, NC for our wedding location, and I never forgot the beautiful backdrop of Biltmore…

This was the perfect place to bring our son to for his first photos. Everyone has fallen in love with the pictures and always asks who our photographer is. Elizabeth has a style all her own and it definitely stands out as something very special to people.”

The adorable family currently resides in Hickory, NC and word on the street is that Kimberly is looking forward to another family session in the future in one of their favorite cities to get away to… Charleston, SC.
