You can really curate your space where, in my opinion, your brand can really speak for itself and that’s in your messaging, in your captions, that’s in the aesthetic with the colors, the filters that you’re using. You control this, this corner of the internet. I mean, there are no rules.
Join me as I chat with an Instagram influencer, Life by MJ, who specializes in building brands and growing your business by connecting with your community via Instagram.
MJ shares that her business grew as she became more transparent and shared her infertility journey with her audience. We discuss the boundaries between sharing too much and offering a vulnerability that is magnetic to the kind of clients you want to attract, as well as some of the current ways you can grow your business on Instagram.
MJ is a curly-haired millennial mother and wife who is a project manager by day and an influencer and entrepreneur every day. Long story short: she likes to wear a lot of hats that her afro can’t seem to fit. MJ has had the honor to work on over 50 brand collaborations with some of the world’s most notable companies such as Coca-Cola, Costco, and Oreo, all while sharing her musings on motherhood, fashion, beauty, and other lifestyle topics. On her podcast, A Life by You, MJ shares how to harness the power of social media to create a life on your own terms. She has also extended her support into other mediums including various coaching programs! Ultimately, through both her blog and social media services, she hopes to help influencers become entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs understand the power of their influence.
