3 Things You Need as a Budding Wedding Professional

As a Wedding Professional there are a lot of things that you need to know s well as understand to make your business thrive and become successful. With that said, as a beginner, there are so many things you NEED that it can be difficult to figure out what to do first. In today’s post, we are going to break down three that you should focus on first!

1. A Portfolio

Having a portfolio that will attract the kind of clients that you long for and the kind of clients that you wish to be booking will go a long way towards moving your business towards that goal.

You can do this by creating a portfolio on your website, Instagram page, or by actually creating a physical one.

2. A Client Attraction Strategy

Without having a specific system in place to attract ideal clients, you’re left to the flow of inconsistent clients and inconsistent revenue

Not sure how to attract your dream clients? Get access to my three-part profitable booking system by clicking here.

A system to attract clients is more important than a beautiful website, posting a bunch on Instagram, and maybe even what your workflow will be…because if you don’t have clients to serve, your workflow won’t matter.

So before you go perfecting your website, wasting countless hours crafting the most beautiful website experience. Make sure you’ve got a lead attracting system unlocked, stay focused on the things that will move your business forward.

3. Financial Awareness

It took me far too many years in my business to realize that at the prices I was charging, I actually wasn’t turning a profit period.

Two of the greatest things we ever did financially for our business:

  1. were to spend some time and money sitting down with a qualified CPA, to discuss financial strategy
  2. reading and implementing profit first

Setting yourself up for profitable success ensures that you’re able to be in it for the long haul, that you’re not going to just burn out two years. When your zest for serving clients out of only the kindness of your heart begins to wear thin. Beginning with those three things alone, you’re setting yourself up for a successful, profitable, sustainable business.

And I can’t wait to see the results and I’ll be here cheering you on!
