The Vineyards at Betty’s Creek, nestled in the heart of the Nantahala National Forest in Western North Carolina, is the epitome of rustic elegance. Their unrivaled views of the Great Smoky Mountains and expansive acreage of pure mountain beauty is just what Mallory & Mikey wanted for their beautiful day.
“From the beginning of our wedding planning story, Mikey and I agreed that of utmost importance to us was that our wedding weekend was the time we would be sharing with our guests, most of whom would be visiting the Blue Ridge Mountains and North Carolina for the very first time. For us, sharing time with our families and friends we call family, includes enjoying many meals together and even more laughs. Despite many changes to our plans, contemplating delaying our wedding or forgoing the wedding party all together, our wedding was nothing short of perfect. While we had dramatically fewer guests and missed seeing others’ full faces as we were covered with masks, every moment was perfect and better than we could have imagined. “
They cut their initial guest list down from 297 guests to 33 guests and separated each table for shared meals into pods people were familiar with and seeing. Masks were required, and in lieu of a full live band, they had friends and local artists to serenade the night away.
